- ILSA water polo is relegated to Divizia B for the first time
- Adalbert Stănescu becomes the coach of the water polo team

- Water polo team navigates between Divizia A and Divizia B
1960
- Voința Timisoara wins promotion to Divizia A
- Voința Timisoara is dismantled, its best players transfer to ILSA
- Török Gabor retires from playing and coaching

- Koszta Ladislau wins his first national champion title
- Koszta Ladislau is renamed Vasile Costa by the national press (without his consent)
- Koszta's made-up name remains in use until after his retirement from swimming in 1972

- Adalbert Stănescu is removed from his coaching position, the result of the decline of ILSA's water polo team
- Török Gabor named the new coach

- Adalbert Stănescu back at the helm of the water polo team

- Koszta Ladislau wins multiple national championships and sets many Romanian national records
- The national record set in 1968 in the 100 m breaststroke remains unbeaten for 18 years

- Koszta Ladislau, along with coach Lovas Peter, participate in the Mexico City Olympics
- Koszta reaches the semifinals of the 100 meter breaststroke event

- Koszta Ladislau wins three gold medals at the Balkan Games
- Koszta Ladislau reaches the semifinals of the European swimming championships

- The Rolik Brothers win multiple national champion titles and represent Romania in international competitions

- An enclosure is built around the ILSA pool
- Indoor pool inaugurated in January 1971

- Coach Lovas Peter defects to Germany
- Codruța Sala and Doina Penția take over the swim team

- Koszta Ladislau retires from active competition

- Backstroker Karin Parutsch wins a national champion title and a gold medal at the Balkan Games
1975
- The Circumvalațiunii indoor swimming pool is inaugurated. Some ILSA swimmers move there.
1968-1983
- Swimmers Toth Timea, Toth Andrei, Carmen Alexe, Christine Seidl, Holger Habetler, Daniela Roșca, Kerezsi Ildiko, Charlotte Cioclei, Areti Costa, Stern Aurica, Mirela Lupu, Friedman Alexandru and Szabo Gabriel win multiple national champion titles and some of them represent Romania in international competitions.

- The last swim team still training at the old ILSA pool moves to the Circumvalațiunii pool
